How Often Should You Regrip Your Clubs?

Most golfers should consider replacing their grips about every 40 rounds or at least once a year. Golfers who play or practice frequently may need to replace them sooner.

Over time, exposure to dirt, moisture, natural oils and changing temperatures can cause grips to become worn, smooth or less tacky. When that happens, golfers often compensate by holding the club more tightly, which can create unnecessary tension and affect swing consistency.
